Announcement: University board election for temporary employees in academic positions
UiA University Board Election 26 May – 3 June 2020. Temporary employees in academic positions.
This year’s election of one representative and two substitutes from the constituency of the university’s temporary employees in academic positions to the University Board is carried out electronically in the period spanning 26 May 10 am – 3 June 2 pm. 2020.
The period of representation is from 1 August 2019 – 31 July 2020.
28 April –12 May 2 pm: Period for submitting candidates.
NB: A submission must be signed on a separate form (pdf) by at least 5 eligible members of the constituency (names, positions, employee numbers, faculties and UiA e-mails) scanned and forwarded by e-mail to email@example.com to Elin Gauslaa, secretary of the Election Committee at UiA, no later than 2 pm on 12 May 2020.
Eligible as the constituency’s representative to the university board is anyone who is employed in at least a 50 % temporary position and has been employed by the university for at least six months prior to the end of the election period. A fixed term employee in at least a 50 % position may also be eligible if the employment term expires after the period of representation ends.
Who may vote?
Anyone who is eligible to stand as the constituency’s representative is also eligible to vote in the election.
What if one is not able to access the electronic voting page and vote?
Everyone will be able to vote. If you do not manage to access the electronic voting page and vote, you may cast your vote by presenting it in writing in a closed envelope and in person to Elin Gauslaa, secretary of the Election Committee at UiA, Campus Kristiansand A6, no later than at the end of the election period.
Today’s University Board representative for the constituency of temporary academic employees is PhD Research Fellow Ingrid Lande Larsen. PhD Research Fellow Mette Marie Næser Seldal is her substitute.
