New and postponed exams are held at the turn of September / October and February / March. For more information, please refer to the Academic Calendar.
The deadline for registration for a new / postponed exam is the same as for regular exams:
September 1 for the fall semester
February 1 for the spring semester
StudentWeb opens for registration on December 10 and June 10. Students must register themselves for a new / postponed exam by the registration deadline. To be eligible for a new/postponed exam in a course, you must have been registered and attended the last regular exam or have been granted a valid absence. Students with a valid result have access to a new / postponed exam if one is scheduled.
To arrange a deferred exam, at least one student who failed, withdrew during the exam or was sick must be registered for the exam. If no registered students meet these criteria, the exam will be canceled, and the students will be exempted from taking the exam.
Postponed exams are primarily conducted using the same assessment method as the last regular exam. Exceptions can be made for practical or academic reasons.
If you have been on an exchange program for a semester, you will have access to a postponed exam the following semester if one is arranged, and you meet the exam requirements for the course.
