In this extraordinary situation with COVID-19 it is more important than ever that you have well-functioning network and equipment at home. It is also very important that you check and test if everything is working fine several days before your exam. This to secure that you get good service if you should need help from UiA.
Checklist before digital oral examinations:
Make yourself familiar with examination date and other information
You'll find the date for each exam on Studentweb and under Examination dates. If you have questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Make sure your computer fulfils the required standards
All students must have their own laptop for use in teaching and examinations. Make yourself familiar with UiA's computer requirements. Make sure that you have installed all the latest updates on your computer before the examination day.
Check connection to the internet
Check if your computer is connected to the internet. If you have a good mobile network connection, it can be useful to set up an option for connecting to a mobile network from your PC as a back-up solution. Please note that additional charges may apply, depending on your mobile subscription package.
If you have questions before the examination, contact email@example.com.
Check your UiA sign-in
Use your ordinary UiA-username and password to log on to your exam. Make sure that you have a valid password. If you are able to log on to Fronter with your Feide-password, then everything is in order.
