Recommended course(s) The students are expected to have previous knowledge equivalent to IKT427 Project Management in Open Source Projects and the course 6080 Free Software offered by Telemark University College.

Learning outcomes On successful completion of the course, the students should

• know modern software development processes and their use in open source projects
• understand the need for such processes and the possible choices
• be able to design and select processes for concrete projects
• be able to reason about advantages and disadvantages of the different approaches

Examination requirement Students must pass the compulsory assignments in order to take the examination. Information about the compulsory assignments will be given in Fronter at the start of the course.

Examination Written examination, 4 hours. Graded assessment.
