Lean Construction at UiA

At UiA, the engagement in Lean Construction is a cooperation between Dept of working life and innovation at the Faculty of Economics and Social sciences, and Dept of engineering at the Faculty of engineering and science.

Our work is performed in close cooperation with the industry. Our main industrial partners are the major contractors Skanska and Veidekke, and our R&D effort has been supported by governmental funding through the Byggekostnadsprogrammet.

Lean construction is implemented in our educational program Industrial economy, which is a two year master program, achievable for students holding a bachelor degree in engineering science.
