Mobile Communication Systems
We handle all aspects of mobile communication,
from communication channels to mobile applications.
Our Mobile Communications Group develops methods that model physical channels between mobile devices.
Within this area we deal with MIMO (multiple input - multiple output) that are used to improve communication characteristics. WiFi routers with several antennas is one such example of these systems. Our models can be used to simulate the channels and to derive error statistics.
The Agder Mobility Lab works on developing mobile applications with associated protocols and user interfaces.
We work on the vision of ubiquitous computing and have several projects in connection with Ericsson. We use modern equipment and develop applications on mobile handheld devices.
