The energy markets are developing rapidly, with new marketplaces emerging globally for electricity, gas, weather and emission. The conference will focus on recent trends in modelling and management of risk in the energy markets, with speakers from both industry and academia.

The event is organized jointly between Centre of Mathematics for Applications (CMA, University of Oslo) and University of Agder, and is part of the annual series of conferences on energy finance. Previous conferences have taken place in Ulm, Oslo, London and Karlsruhe.

We are happy to announce that a special issue of the Journal of Energy Markets will be published with papers from the conference. All speakers at the conference will be invited to submit their papers to this special issue.

Location: The conference will be located at University of Agder, at Gimlemoen in Kristiansand.

How to get there:By plane to the airport of Kristiansand Kjevik: Direct flights from Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Stavanger or Bergen. Note! The bus from the airport (Kjevik) stops at the UiA campus on Gimlemoen.
You can also go to Kristiansand by train/bus from Oslo or Stavanger. Or, you may come to Kristiansand by boat from Hirtshals in Denmark.
