International conference on climate change and security
Plans are made for an international conference on Climate Change and Security at UiA, Campus Kristiansand, in June 2012. Associate Professor Christian Webersik plays a key role in preparing for the conference which will be organized in collaboration with the research group Climate Change and Security - CLISEC at the University of Hamburg, Germany.
The conference receives financial support from the Research Council of Norway.

Christian Webersik works at the Centre for Development Studies. His main research interests are climate change and security, post-conflict studies, natural hazards and sustainable development. Check out his profile here.
