Måsøvals avhandling har tittelen: ”Factors Constraining Students’ Establishment of Algebraic Generality in Shape Patterns: A Case Study of Didactical Situations in Mathematics at a University College".

Både prøveforelesningen og disputasen finner sted i Clara Holst Auditorium, Sigrid Undsets Hus, Campus Kristiansand. Klikk inn på kartet, der Sigrid Undsets hus er merket som Bygg 46, bak til venstre på kartet over campus.

Thursday, February 9 at 12:30 Heidi S. Måsøval will be defending her PhD dissertation at the Faculty of Engineering and Science for the degree Philosophiae Doctor (PhD) in Mathematics Education. Måsøval´s dissertation is titled: ” Factors Constraining Students’ Establishment of Algebraic Generality in Shape Patterns: A Case Study of Didactical Situations in Mathematics at a University College”

The trial lecture on a given topic: “Similarities and differences between didactical phenomena and patterns of mathematical interaction – Comparing elements of the French School of Mathematics Education with elements of the Theory of Social Interactionism” will be held the same day at 10:30.

The trial lecture and disputation will take place at Clara Holst Auditorium, Sigrid Undset's House, Campus Kristiansand. Sigrid Undset's house is marked as "Bygg 46" in the map you will find here:
