6th Scandinavian Workshop on e-Government

February 2 and 3, 2009
_MG_6445

E-Government has been on the agenda for a number of years now, and it is time to question the research findings and the practical implications.
Are we able to solve problems concerning integration of large scale systems and different bodies of government? Are we able to develop sustainable Enterprise Architectures? Are we achieving value from our investments in e-Government applications? And how do we know if we are?
Is the public sector being transformed through implementation of new systems? Are we seing more participation? And are our learnings and findings transferable to developing countries?
We invite submissions within these and other themes in e-Government such as coordination of public entities, e-participation & e-democracy. We invite contributions from a range of disciplines such as public administration, political science, information systems / informatics, economics, sociology, and law.

Keynote speakers this year are Professor Zahir Irani from Brunel University, UK and Jens Nørve, the Agency for Public Management and eGovernment (DIFI Direktoratet for forvaltning og IKT).
