THE NORDIC CONFERENCE ON EXPERIENCE, November 26th-28th 2008, Vaasa, Finland

The theme of the conference is experience. As we all know experience today is a way of living and a way of being. The modern individual seeks stimulation instead of relaxation and resists stress and boredom by having fun. She is in a need of a sense of experience.

Media is in the key position in providing human experiences. Not for entertainment purposes only but first and foremost for the use of mobile and ubiquitous technological applications.

We all know that being successful when it comes to discover and to utilize the potentials of the future changes will need joint efforts from the representatives of both the business and the academic community.

Therefore, the main theme of the conference, experience, offers a common meeting point for people from different academic disciplines for example Arts, Business Economics, Communication studies, Education, Design and Information technology.

Please send your proposal, a one-page abstract in RTF-format, to
experience08@abo.fi by August 15th 2008.

The themes of the conference parallel sessions are formulated on the basis of the content of the accepted abstracts.
