Roy Mersland has extensive international management, consulting and research experience in more than 20 countries in Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Europe and was a key player in establishing the BANCO D-MIRO in Ecuador. He has a wide international research network, is currently involved in several research projects and is a member of the research group of the European Microfinance Platform (www.e-mfp.eu) and of the Centre for European Research in Microfinance located in Brussels (www.cermi.eu).
