European integration more interesting than ever
The EISS - European Integration Summer School - of 2011 is now halfway through the course syllabus. EISS director Stefan Gänzle states that the current economic turmoil in some of the euro countries makes the study of European integration "more important and more interesting than ever.”
During intensive weeks the students learn about historical and contemporary political processes of European integration that can explain the challenges European political leaders face at the moment.
Class of 2011
The class of 2011 has a mix of students from both UiA and other universities in Norway and abroad. Nearly half of the class is made up of international students, representing Canada, Greece, Iran, Latvia, Mexico, Myanmar (Burma), Pakistan, Spain, and Turkey.
