EU and international cooperation
The university’s Strategic Plan for 2009-2015 states that the University of Agder should have a strong international presence. International research can range from informal cooperation between individual researchers to bilateral agreements and strategic partnerships with specific institutions or countries.

Researcher mobility is an important tool to link and strengthen the international network and many grants are available, both for travel and for inviting colleagues to UiA. Click here for more information on research mobility.
UiA is active in cooperation projects within the EU’s framework programme and follows the development of the European Research Associates (ERA). Information on funding opportunities for EU projects and other international funding sources can be found here.
