Doctoral Programme in Linguistics

The programme amounts to 180 study credits, takes 3 years to complete and takes place in Kristiansand. Admission requirements: A master`s degree in linguistics or in an equivalent field.This doctoral programme is within the field of linguistics. The programme consists of independent research (a doctoral dissertation) and a formal research training component. The doctoral dissertation is written under supervision to ensure a level of quality and relevance. The nominal length of study for a full-time PhD degree is 3 years. PhD candidates who take on extra work will use more than 3 years to complete their PhD.
