In August 2010, the University consolidated its activities in Aust-Agder county on a new campus in Grimstad's state-of-the-art technology park.

The 25,000 square metre campus houses a purpose-built facility capable of meeting the demanding educational needs of UiA's staff and students. Besides lecture halls and classrooms, the campus includes state-of-the-art engineering and nursing labs, a student cafeteria and also a new student house, the "Blue box". Campus facilities also include new student accommodation for 400 students, with the Hokus Pokus student kindergarten situated conveniently next door.

The campus was officially opened by HRH the Crown Prince Haakon Magnus and HRH the Crown Princess Mette-Marit (a former student at UiA) on 31 August 2010.

Our aim is to make Campus Grimstad the best and most modern place of study in the country.
