Music
Spadser & Blæse-ensemblet is Kristiansand’s student orchestra.
Lady klukk, Femmes Spillopus and Voce di Vita are women’s chorus groups.
If you’re a guy, Bondebrølet or Quantum Oellerus Op & Frem may be what you’re looking for.
Sports
KSI covers just about every sport and sports activity you can think of!
Academic
As an Advanced Business Studies student you are an automatic member of Mercurius, and if you are an Information Systems student, Systematicus is the organisation for you. If you are registered as a student in Public Administration, Political Science, Social Sciences, Social Work or Welfare Administration, you are automatically a member of Politicus. As a student of Pedagogy, you can join PS, and nursing students are welcome to join the Student rådet for Sykepleiere (Student Council of Nurses). The translation students have started their own academic organisation Hieronymus. The students of chemistry and biology have done the same, and it is called Alchymia.
Religious
Students at the University of Agder also offer various religious activities such as Laget (The Team) or Ny Generasjon (New Generation). There is also a Christian sports association called KRIK, and a Christian choir called Ad Fontes.
Media
If you’re interested in media and journalism, you can get involved in the student newspaper Unikum or the student radio station Studentradioen. If you’re into photography, Blender 11 is the club for you.
Theatre
If your interests bend toward the theatrical, lyrical or sheer entertainment, you can play your part in making Kultopia a success!
Solidarity
The students also have their own charity and solidarity organisation SAIH.
Other activities include UiA Studentbridge, Phonic Youth and Seilklubben
(Sailing club).
