Upon successful completion of this course the student should be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of corporate finance. They should be familiar with and understand major concepts related to corporate accounting, budgeting, finance and marketing. In addition, they should have acquired a certain amount of insight into macroeconomics.
Corporate expenditure, financial accounting, corporate accounting, financial accounting as source of information, account analysis (definition and explanation of key terms), central legislation, financing, marketing, planning, management and budgeting.
The course is of a descriptive nature.
In the section on macroeconomics the following topics are discussed: macroeconomics (market policies and foreign trade) and public economics (external effects and collective benefits). Socioeconomics will comprise approximately 1/5 of the course.
Lectures and seminars.
Approved compulsory assignment.
3-hour written examination with graded marks.
First cycle i.e. bachelor level.
