Upon completion of the course, students will have acquired the necessary knowledge to understand and reflect over

  • various types of conflicts
  • causes of conflicts in organisations
  • strategies for handling conflicts
  • various theoretical negotiation models
  • various negotiation techniques and methods

The course includes various theoretical negotiation models and strategies as well as theories about conflict causes, development and solution possibilities.

  • Effects of conflicts on organisations

Lectures, group work with cases, roleplay and student presentations

Participation in compulsory group activities and roleplay. Approved compulsory groupwork.

A 4 hour written, individual exam. Graded assessment.
