Education - Advanced Programme

Passed One-Year Education Study Programme or a minimum of 50 ECTS credits in education/special education/didactics. Students attending the General Teacher Education Programme must have completed the first three years.
The Advanced programme in Education consists of courses belonging to the third and fourth terms in the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Education.
Arrangements for the recognition of prior learning are described in the information on the institution under "General arrangements for the recognition of prior learning (formal, informal and non-formal)".

The Examination Regulations of the University of Agder regulate the graduation requirements for each programme of study.
After having completed the programme, students
should
- have a basic understanding of formative
concepts, professional curriculum studies/educational
professionalism and didactics from a Nordic
perspective
Lectures, discourses, group work, literature studies, counselling and oral presentations. ICT-based support programmes will be utilised.
Individual home assignments and individual essays on given topic.
The programme provides a basis for educational practice in different areas in which educational skills are required, and is also a component in the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Education. Completion of the programme may qualify applicants for admission to the Master´s Degree Programme in Education
