PRA016-MR-1 Practice spring 2nd academic year, 2nd term
Bachelor's Programme in Music Education - African-American Music

On successful completion of this course, the
student should be able to:
- master the various tasks
that the music teacher meets in the school
- see the
teaching possibilities that music gives in the school, both
through individual work and in collaboration with other people.
Teaching practice will give the students
wide experience with the drama teacher´s work and the
challenges they will meet in the school of
today.
Course contents:
- Ensembledirection
practice.
The students will plan and accomplish
ensembledirection in choir, corps, oechestras or in a big band
at primary school, in a college or a Folk High School. They
also have to write an individual
report.
The teaching practice is arranged as
consecutive periods. Every group gets guidance.
The
teaching practice will take place in College, Folk High School
or Arts
School.
Assessed on the basis pass / fail.
