On successfully completion of the course,
students should
- have an awareness of bodily
behaviour and expression in infants and toddlers
-
have professional knowledge about infant and toddler
development and learning
- be able to discuss and use
stories from professional practice as a tool for establishing
knowledge
- have knowledge about the aesthetic
sensibilities and expressions of infants and toddlers
The course covers of the following

- Stories from professional practice as tools
and learning strategies
- Research on infants and
perspectives on development
- Infant and toddler
culture
- Movement and language
- Learning
and involvement
- Aesthetic subjects for infants and
toddlers
Completed portfolio, and received individual supervision.
Meet the attendance requirements. Practical training must be passed.
Two individual portfolio assignments will be given a graded assessment. The external examiner selects one assignment for assessment. Each assignment counts 50% of the final grade.
