Norwegian.
Upon completion of the course, students
will
- Have acquired professional and didactic
competency, social skills, change and development competency,
professional ethics and management skills
- be able
to explain and reflect upon their own definition of Norwegian
as an academic subject and practice as well as their beliefs
regarding educational work
- be able to plan, execute
and assess teaching plans based on the National Curriculum in
Norwegian as outlined in the educational reform Knowledge
Promise LK06
- be able to adapt instruction to
students´ qualifications and interests and to local operational
conditions
- be able to explain and discuss didactic
problems related to relevant didactic theories

display insight into what kind of roles and functions the
subject of Norwegian has in school, culture and society from an
historical, contemporary and future perspective
- be
able to integrate Norwegian into a global and multicultural
context
While Module 2 is related to instruction at
the lower secondary school level, emphasis is also placed on
the acquisition of the basic skills students must have in order
to be able to work as a teacher of Norwegian at all levels of
the primary school

Lectures, seminars, guidance in groups and
individually. Project work, group work and oral presentations.
Compulsory attendance during teaching practice, practice
preparation and project work. Use of IT-related aids is
required.
During the course NO-121), students will
hand in two written papers, one on a linguistic topic and the
second on a literary topic. During the course NO-121 or
NO-122), each student will be responsible for an oral
presentation of one topic in either language or literature,
either individually or as part of a group
