After completing the course, the student is expected to

  • be able to use the 3D-CAD system Solid Works for model- and drawing generating
  • be able to use Solid Works for design changes
  • have knowledge of different standards used in mechanical industry

Introduction to use of modern DAK-tools and making of technical drawings with standard drawing templates. 3D modelling by use of the DAK-program Solid Works. Emphasis is put on the use of Solid Works as design tool including design changes etc.

Lectures, and lab-exercises in groups.

3-hour individual written examination. Graded assessment.

Bachelor's level.

First year of bachelor's programme.
