High School diploma or High School equivalency exam or relevant work experience.

Course contents: DR-101: Drama 1 - Introduction to Drama and Theatre DR-102: Drama 2 - Drama and Theatre - Theory and Practice The students will receive knowledge of drama as an art expression. They will develop understanding of children´s play and they will work with theatre for children. The Drama-programme has its focus on acting skills, drama pedagogics and theatre productions. This programme qualifies for work with drama and theatre in Primary and Secondary School and High School.

Studieplanramme

On completion of the programme students are expected to - use drama and theatre as means of expression and communication - achieve a basic theoretical and practical knowledge in dramapedagogics and theaterpedagogics

This programme is organized in periods where practical work, lectures and seminars are included in a totality. Most of the practical work takes place in groups. Integrated theoretical and practical work. Compulsory attendance will be required for parts of the courses (see course description). The programme also includes compulsory practice training. Research and development project is a compulsory part of the programme for students who are in their 4th year of a Teacher Education. Final evaluations: See course descriptions.
