REH400 Perspective, system and process

After having completed the course, the student will have: acquired an insight into different roles and positions in the habilitation- and rehabilitation field, and into the circumstances related to individuals and society which are important for user orientated rehabilitation. The student has developed the ability to take part in interpersonal relationships, and has an insight into human rights and effectuation of these in developing a society which ensures equalising and participation for all people. developed skills to be able to create contexts in which good user relationships are integrated and present aspects of professional practice. knowledge of recent research and how to find this on the internet, and methods for implementation. been immersed in theory about the human self understanding and perspectives on humanity, how the individuals comprehend or construct themselves, which are important aspects in order to understand the terms coping and motivation in a rehabilitation context. acquired knowledge about inter-disciplinary habilitation and rehabilitation in a life-long perspective, knowledge about how different professions work and about inter-disciplinary cooperation and evaluation in the rehabilitation process. applied basic principles for quality assurance and will have knowledge about adequate methods for quality assurance and - development. knowledge about relevant acts and regulations. knowledge about how to carry out minor (research) projects.

Varied work methods which may include lectures, seminars, experience-oriented instruction, reflective processes, project work, work in groups and self studies. Throughout the studies the student must prepare assignments to be collected in a portfolio. This is the basis for the final assessment in REH401.

Passed REH400 Perspective, system and process Oral examination in a self chosen topic which reflects the process of learning. The student gives a 15-minute presentation which is discussed with the examiners for 15 minutes afterwards. The student must pass the examination before the portfolio may be handed in. Please see Guidelines in the course brochure regarding oral examination.

The students will carry out three work requirements (two individually and one in groups). These are collected in a personal portfolio which the assessment is based on. The portfolio will be graded. Please see Guidelines in the course brochure regarding examination REH401.
