Professional-ethic competence: - Shows respect for pupils, parents and fellow staff members Social competence - Shows ability for independence - Shows ability to take a leader responsibility for pupils and fellow students Professional competence: - Has good professional knowledge about the selected subject - Can argue for the selected subject as a professional subject - Has knowledge about the didactics of the subject Didactic competence: - Shows independence in planning and carrying out the teaching activity - Can use experiences and challenges from the field of practice as a starting point for professional didactical considerations Change and development competence: - Can discuss, consider and take part in the development work of the school

- Professional practice in primary school with emphasis on a selected subject of the third year - Teachers, practice teachers and students cooperate and work out specific tasks / project connected to the teaching practice. - Mathematics has its own practice program

- Teamwork - Individual preparation - Planning, carrying out and evaluating varied teaching

The practice teacher gives the students continuously guidance and evaluation of the work done in practice. After completed practice the practice teacher writes an individual written evaluation graded Pass/Fail. The grade is given on the basis of the practice teacher´s evaluation of the student´s learning outcome of the five competence areas. The student will present his/her evaluation report for the tutor of the next practice period.
