Professional-ethic competence: - Takes responsibility in the practice group - Knows the values and visions of the practice school - Hands in a planning form for each lesson and period/week - Shows respect for pupils, parents and fellow workers Social competence: - Participates actively in the school and in the group - Shows consideration for pupils with different qualifications - Is able to reflect on own teacher role Professional competence: - Has knowledge about different ways of adapted teaching - Has knowledge about the use of curriculum and teaching aids - Has knowledge about various teaching methods Didactic competence: - Can use various teaching methods in mathematics and Norwegian - Can observe and try out adapted teaching - can make work plans for the pupils Change and development competence: - Can analyse own practice experiences in the light of theory, curriculum and experiences with different pupils.

Overall theme: Being aware of the relations between professional content and organisation - Practice adapted teaching in mathematics and Norwegian - Teaching plans, annual plans, work plans - Analyse own practice experiences

- Teamwork - Individual improvement - Observation - Evaluation participation - Planning,carrying out and evaluating teaching

After completed practice the tutor writes an individual written evaluation graded Pass/Fail. The grade is given on the basis of the tutor´s evaluation of the student´s learning outcome of the five competence areas. The student will present his/her evaluation report for the tutor of the next practice period.
