Norwegian.
Having completed the course, students will - have knowledge about children´s language development, culture and use of media - be able to present children´s literature in an engaging manner - be able to use games and conversation to stimulate language development - be able to express themselves in a professional manner - be able to express themselves in written form in a professional manner (in both Standard Norwegian and New Norwegian)
The course consists of three areas: professional knowledge; educational work with children; interaction and reflection. Coursework will alternate between theoretical knowledge, practice, independent work, professional assignments and didactic reflection.
Lectures, seminars and tutoring. Students will have to take part in both professional discussions and proposal presentation.
In order to become eligible to sit the written examination, students must have passed: One oral examination and one written individual at-home assignment. The at-home assignment must be in the Norwegian variant not used for the written examination. Passed project. Passed practice.
A 4-hour written examination. Differentiated degree.
