On successful completion of this course, the students should be able to: - have basic knowledge of a music production from pre-production to the final result - use thier own creative skills according to the possibilities of modern electronic music equipment - work as both a producer, a technician and a composer/ arranger - work in a recording studio

The course aims at giving students basic knowledge of the following: - introduction to acoustics and electronics for sound technicians - electronic instruments and computer technology - sequencer and sampler - synthesizer and programming - recording techniques - elective course: recording techniques/music production or computer-based harmony

Teaching combines lectures, practical work and demonstrations in a sound studio.

- Passed compulsory tests - Compulsory attendance, assessed as passed

- Project work, minimum length 10 minutes - Oral examination based on the literature Assessed on the scale of A-F (with A as the highest mark and F as fail).
