Bachelor's Programme in Fine Arts - Specialisation in Music , Music, Advanced Programme
Autumn
Norwegian.
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - recognize and evaluate different genres through analysis and practical work with selected genres - master participation in and instruction of different types of ensembles - identify and recite music, orally and written (graphic and traditional notation) - master improvisation based on different styles.
Course contents: - Aural Training - Ensemble, play and singing - Knowledge of genre
The course makes use of lectures and group seminars. Compulsory attendance.
- Compulsory assignments - Participation in vocal ensemble and an instrumental ensemble - Test in Aural Training, assessed as passed - Compulsory attendance, assessed as passed
- Practical group exam/concert with individual assessment. Assessed on the basis A-F (with A as the highest level and F as fail).
