On successful completion of the course, students should - demonstrate how different media create different contextual frames of communication - have knowledge about the relationship between the different media, and between media texts on the one hand and culture and society on the other - be able to give an account about the role and position of the media in society
The course comprises media theory and culture studies. Reception theory and audience research are also included.
