Norwegian.
60 ECTS in Arts and Crafts subjects.
The students should have knowledge of digital medias.
On successful completion of the course, the student will: - be able to try out and use aesthetic and expressive qualities in untraditional materials and techniques in his own creative work and in teaching - be able to plan and execute a performance - be able to adapt and manipulate photographs with the aid of digital tools in terms of aesthetic issues - be able to use classical and more modern graphic techniques in his own creative work and in teaching - show extended aesthetic competence and expressional ability in a material area of his own choice - be familiar with central research methods in the subject and be able to use relevant methods in his own research and development work - be able to reflect upon and document his own creative processes and works in terms of academic and educational aspects - be able to document and present project work with various ICT tools.
The course will help the students to further develop their own visual language. Course contents: - Individual research and development project - Use of materials, techniques and expressions from contemporary art - ICT Through the individual research and development project the students have to prove independent exploration and reflection .
The common introduction makes use of lectures, group seminars and guidance. Compulsory attendance. The rest of the course makes use of individual work and individual guidance. Compulsory guidance.
