IS-102-1 Methodical Programming
Bachelor's Programme in IT and Information Systems , IT and Information Systems, 1-year Programme

Norwegian.
IS-100 and IS-101 or equivalent.
On completion of the course the students will know a programming language, and be able to use it to write small programs. They will be able to read and understand larger programs written in the same language. They will know the common abstractions used in programming, and be able to learn new programming languages. They will know and follow good programming practice.
- Common programming abstractions, such as class, object, method, iteration, and their use in programming. - Coding standards and documentation of source code. - Testing.
Up to 4 hours of lectures, and 8 hours of supervised programming labs per week. About 10 mandatory programming assignments.
Approved mandatory assignments.
A 4-hour individual written examination.
