After completing the course, the student is expected to be able to use strategic analyses in the design and use of management control systems, including transfer pricing, performance measurement and bonus and incentive systems.
The design and use of strategic management control systems, including strategic profitability analyses (including Activity Based Costing), strategic cost management, transfer pricing, performance measurement systems, including balanced scorecard, accounting based bonus and incentive systems and valuation and value based management.
Cases and exercises.
The portfolio must be assessed to Pass before the student has access to the written examination.
Written examination, 4 hours (40 % contribution to final assessment) and portfolio (60 % contribution to final assessment). Graded assessment. The portfolio must be assessed to Pass to take the examination.
