After completing the course, the student is expected to: have an understanding of the basic business management topics have insight in financial management be able to make simple financial calculations that will form a basis to make the right decisions from an economist's point of view
Cost and income theory, cost calculations, management accounting, financial mathematics, financial analysis, investment analysis with tax and inflation, market analysis, economical risk, capital value model, debts/equity problems, business management, and models and methods for decisions by means of business game.
Lectures, exercises and participation in a business game. Compulsory participation in business game.
Satisfactory submission of compulsory exercises and business game.
Written examination, 4 hours. Graded assessment.
Master's level
First year of master's programme.
