IN-603-1 Research Issues in International Marketing

The course extends the IN-600 Core Course 3: International Marketing.
At the completion of the course students should: Understand how streams of research in international marketing have developed Develop a contemporary research issue in international marketing Develop research skills through critical thinking.
The course is designed to familiarize students in depth with several research streams in international marketing. The major emphasis is on development of international marketing thought such that students can appreciate how research streams have developed over the years. This will lead to identification of areas where a contribution in the field of research can be made. Content: Global strategy Marketing standardization Global sourcing/global supply chain management
Students will be assessed on a term paper of approximately 20-30 pages focusing on a contemporary research issue in international marketing. Pass/fail assessment.
