HSI410 Development of Data Systems, Project Management, and Evaluation

After having completed the course, the student will: have sufficient knowledge about organisational theory to be able to apply such knowledge in the analysis of organisations and organisational changes have general knowledge about health - and social politics, especially in fields of importance in the development and implementation of computer based systems be acquainted with the prerequisites and framework concerning the implementation and daily use of IT and how this may influence organisational relations within the health- and social sector have the professional skills to be able to participate in organisational work where IT questions are treated account for health- and socio-political objectives and framework related to the development and use of computer technology in the sector understand the relation between the implementation of IT-systems and the organisation of work processes

Organisation theory with focus on health organisations, health- and social politics, strategic use of ICT in the Health- and Social Welfare sector, and implementation of health computer systems.

Net-based study programme, including two week-long seminars. Lectures and group work.

Two work requirements must be passed. For more information please see the course brochure.

A 3- hour individual at-home examination. Pass/Fail only.
