After having completed the course, the students will: have acquired the knowledge and skills required for being able to understand and communicate health information know about theories and models for change of health related behaviour be able to plan and carry out measures in order to improve people´s health
history of health information health education - various communicative perspectives theoretical perspectives methods for use in practical health information work at individual, group and society level change of health related behaviour and strategies for change planning public health work
Studies of literature, lectures, group work, supervision and three days of compulsory field work
Approved three days of field work, preferably completed in groups of up to three students
A graded written report (preferably written in groups) based on the fieldwork. The mark can be adjusted one level up or down after an individual oral presentation. Please see Fronter or the course brochure for guidelines for the examination in HEL101.
