FRI100-1 Outdoor activities Theory I - Norwegian Outdoor tradition, Man, Nature and Society
After having completed the course, the student will have aquired a theoretical didactic platform on how to coach, teach, guide and lead various user groups in Norwegian outdoor activities. This means that the student will: be able to make use of the environment as an arena for stimulation, development and learning know about didactic relations be able to handle the role as the leader/teacher be able to use relevant work methods and choices related to aims have carried through about 14 days of practice (practice as a teacher/leader at school/camp school/ideal organisation/company) have participated in a four-week long project (inclusive the practice listed above) know of the distincive features and requirements of various groups of users

Instruction will primarily be given at University of Agder, further on as part of field trips (please refer to FRI111-1), as well as supervision related to the project. Compulsory instruction: All instruction related to practical training and project is compulsory. This applies to preparations and supplementary work as well.

A graded oral individual exam based on the project and the literature list. Other requirements of design, contents and volume of the report will be given at the introducion to the course.
