After having completed the course, students will: have acquired knowledge about food and diets be able to consider various kinds of communication and their application towards various groups have experience in imparting healthy diets in the field of practice
food knowledge food labels food safety ethical and sustainable food production diets in various cultures proper diets according to recommendations from health authorities use of digital equipment entrepreneurship guidance and communicating healthy diets the role of the guidance counsellor work experience
Instruction includes lectures, group work and practical assignments with following presentations in which students are given supervision and assessment, portfolio, theme and project work, use of computer programs and excursions. Parts of the instruction are compulsory, information about which is given at the start of the semester.
Students must have: approved compulsory attendance including practice passed compulsory work requirements according to the course brochure
