After having completed the course, the students will be able to account for various aspects of American culture, be able to analyse and discuss these in an independent way, based on both literay texts and non-fiction.
The course takes up various aspects of American culture through an in-depth study of literary and documentary texts.
The course is given as lectures and seminars. Students will give at least one oral presentation. Students will write one obligatory essay.
An oral presentation and a compulsory assignment must be assessed as a Pass.
A 4-hour written examination. Graded assessment.
