DR-100-1 Semester Programme in Drama
Bachelor's Programme in Pre-school Education , Drama in Pre-School Teacher Education, Semester Programme ,
Spring
Norwegian.
On successful completion of this course, the student should: - have attained practical and theoretical insight in the different aspects of theatre production - achieved basic theoretical and practical knowledge in theatre pedagogics - have attained knowledge of theatre theory - have developed skills in improvisation - be able to plan, teach and evaluate theatre art
The students will develop knowledge of dramatic voice and movement training, theatre practise and theory. Course contents: - Drama as a mode of expression - Drama theory - Drama pedagogics and Methodical classroom work
The course makes use of lectures, group seminars and practical work. Integrated theoretical and practical work. Compulsory attendance.
- Compulsory assignments. - Teaching practice, assessed as passed.
- One practical group exam (60%). - One written individual take home exam (40%). Assessed on the basis A-F (with A as the highest level and F as fail).
