On successful completion of the course, the student should have knowledge and understanding of the development of services on the Internet including services with several layers.
Introduction and presentation of infrastructure and tools. Client-Server scripting. Database connection DHTML and XML. Some actual technologies and standards.
Lectures and laboratory exercises. The exercises take place in the computer laboratory. A laboratory engineer, student assistant and/or course lecturer is present. The students get training in development and use of professional software. The classes are split into groups of suitable sizes so that all students get access to necessary equipment and the help they need to solve the exercises. Some of the exercises might involve group work. The problems for the students to solve, are typically development of own programmes.
