BYG207-G Engineering Structures in Concrete
Civil Engineering, Bachelor Programme , 2-year Programme in Civil Engineering, 2-year Programme

Norwegian.
BYG110 or equivalent.
After completing the course, the student is expected to have understanding for calculation and dimensioning of the most common parts in concrete constructions according to prevailing regulations.
How constructions respond to stresses, by determining Norwegian legal claims and regulations on how to design structures of concrete. Attention is paid to dimensioning and documenting the concrete and reinforcement in beams, columns, floors, walls and joints.
Lectures 2 hours per week and exercises 2 hours per week.
Satisfactory submission of compulsory exercises.
3-hour individual written examination under supervision. Graded assessment.
