BYG110-G Engineering Mechanics

After completing the course, the student is expected to have skills in mechanics that give the basis for construction subjects carry out calculations on internal forces and distribution of stress in joists, frames, truss work and compound constructions

forces geometry of forces balance geometry of masses concept of stress analysis of stress for linear elastic material

Lectures 4 hours per week and exercises 4 hours per week. Compulsory participation on exercises is required.

Satisfactory participation of compulsory exercises and compulsory exercises.

4-hour individual written examination under supervision. Graded assessment.
