BYG108-G Sanitary Engineering

Norwegian.
After completing the course, the student is expected to dimensioning simple: water supply installations and appurtenant installations and equipment installations for wastewater and appurtenant installations and equipment
An introduction to hydrology, surface- and subsoil water and water reservoirs. Attention is paid to design and performance of technical and physical properties of constructions for depoting and transporting water. Approaches are discussed on how to erect, maintain and operate such installations.
Lectures 2 hours per week and exercises 2 hours per week.
Satisfactory submission of compulsory exercises.
3-hour individual written examination under supervision. Graded assessment.
