After completing the course, the student is expected to have basic knowledge about: the development of our physical environment how our surroundings affect us how we can influence on development through knowledge on aesthetics and physical, economical and social mechanisms
An introduction to the development of our physical environment; on how our surroundings affect us, and how we can influence on development through knowledge on aesthetics and physical, economical and social mechanisms. Attention is paid to theoretical, practical, ethical and aesthetical fundamentals to architecture, regarding room, structure and form. Effort is put down both on solitude buildings and rural development.
Lectures 2 hours per week and exercises 2 hours per week.
Portfolio assessment (70 %) and 3-hour individual written examination (30 %). Graded assessment.
