Learning outcomes After completing the course, the student is expected to build three dimensional BIM models of construction and generate and plot standard constructional drawings on levels, cross-sections and erections.

Course contents An introduction to technical drawing techniques in 2D and 3D, using the programmes AutoCAD and Revit Structure. Students are taught to mastering fundamental commands and setups to produce a model of a building, and then plot standard constructional drawings on levels, cross-sections and erections.

Teaching methods Lectures 1 hour per week and laboratory work 3 hours per week in groups.

Examination requirement Satisfactory submission of compulsory computer laboratory work.

Assessment methods and criteria Portfolio. Pass/Fail.
