Campus towns
The University of Agder has three campuses: Kristiansand, Grimstad and Arendal. The Arendal and Grimstad campuses will merge onto one campus in Grimstad in 2009.
Kristiansand
Kristiansand is the largest campus town both in terms of number of students and study programmes. With a population of 75,000 the town is the fifth largest in Norway and the largest on the southern coast of Norway, usually referred to as “Sørlandet”.
Grimstad
Grimstad is the engineering and technological centre of the University of Agder. It is the second largest campus, situated 50 kilometres to the east of Kristiansand.
Arendal
Arendal is the easternmost campus town (about 80 kilometres from Kristiansand) with a population of 38,000 and a student body of 500 nursing and disability nursing students.
