Campus towns
The University of Agder has two campuses: Kristiansand (also called Gimlemoen) and Grimstad.
Kristiansand
Kristiansand is the largest campus town both in terms of number of students and study programmes. With a population of 75,000 the town is the fifth largest in Norway and the largest on the southern coast of Norway, usually referred to as “Sørlandet”.
Grimstad
Grimstad is the engineering and technological centre of the University of Agder and also offers studies in health, education and economics. Grimstad is situated 50 kilometres to the east of Kristiansand.
